We produce single crowns, laminates, inlays, onlays and frames of bridge prosthesis for the metal-free ceramics from zirconium oxide, aluminum oxide and spinell with the help of the CEREC device.

The laser scanner of the CEREC device scans the model and the doctor shapes the tooth with the computer. The only thing left is to cut the needed prosthesis from the block of the chosen material. The CEREC device can do it in mere 15-20 minutes!

We produce crowns, laminates, inlays and onlays from lithium desilicate blocks / e-max CAD /, which are manufactured by the company Ivoclar-Vivadent. The bending resistance of the teeth that are made from these blocks is 360 MPa. This is two times more than the resistance of the regular blocks and almost four times more than that of ceramics, used for the finishing touches on metal. When the teeth are milled from the blocks, they are of bluish color and their resistance is up to 160 MPa. These teeth can be measured in a mouth. After that, they are crystallized for about 30 minutes in a furnace and acquire the proper color, as well as the bending resistance of 360 MPa. The teeth, which are made from e-max, do not need to be strengthened by adhesive systems. They can be cemented with usual cementum. This way time can be saved up as the lithium desilicate ceramics do not differ from any other kind of ceramics in terms of their aesthetical qualities.

Why is metal-free ceramics superior to metal ceramics?

Metal-free ceramics is appealing to the patients because:

1. It is aesthetical and biocompatible.
2. There is no need for the dental retraction.
3. No visible metal edge.
4. It clings to teeth tissues well.
5. It is as transparent as natural teeth.
6. It is sufficiently sturdy.

Metal-free ceramics is appealing to the odontologists because:

1. The fixating can be carried out by both adhesive and non-adhesive methods.
2. It is X-ray contrasting.
3. When using the CEREC blocks, it is possible to save a lot of time for the manufacturing.
